The airline prioritizes the comfort of their customers and gives them the liberty to select seats on the flight according to their comfort and preference—the steps required to follow for the seat selection.

Steps to select your seat on tap Portugal:-

There are pretty simple steps that must be followed in both cases, where you make seat selection while booking your flight ticket or at the time of check-in.

While making the reservations

1. Get into the airline's official website and proceed further to start the booking process.
2. Please enter all the required details, including the number of passengers and details(In case of a group booking).
3. You must also mention the date of your departure and the airport from which you'll board your flight.
4. After which, there will be an option to select the class in which you want to travel as well as your preferred seat, which you can do with the help of a 'seat map.'
5. Once all the information is mentioned, follow the on-screen process to complete the payment of our flight booking (you may get charged for choosing your preferential seat).

7. You can proceed with check-in on the official website or the airline's mobile app.
8. Get onto the official website and proceed towards the check-in process.
9. After getting there, you must fill in the PNR number and the passenger's last name.

Term & Conditions of Seat Selection on Tap Portugal

Suppose the seat selection was made at the time of booking or within 24 hours of the booking. In that case, you may not get charged for making the seat selection on your scheduled flight.

1. If you don't make the seat selection at the time of reservation or check-in, in that case, the airlines will provide you with the seat as per the availability.
2. The seat selection is allowed from 24 to 2 hours before the scheduled departure, during online check-in, or at the airport's check-in counter from any domestic flight.
3. You can select a seat on tap Portugal from 24 hours to 3 hours before the scheduled flight departure at check-in time for international flights.
4. If you wish to shift your seat from one flight class to another in that case, you are required to rebook your flight.

How much does TAP Portugal charge for seat selection?

The airline charges $32 for the middle row and $40 for an aisle/window seat at the back of the plane. For middle row seats nearer to the front, the airline charges $78 in economy Xtra.
